ASDEPCO provides critical assistance to disabled persons and people vulnerable to food insecurity in Oku and Babanki. Their outreach targets the most marginalized groups who lack access to basic necessities. ASDEPCO delivers food, medical care, and other aid to uplift these communities.
Reaching out to vulnerable persons affected by the Anglophone crisis is a priority for ASDEPCO. Their network spans all communities in the North West region, enabling them to identify needs and provide timely support. Even in remote areas, ASDEPCO finds ways to assist those impacted by violence and instability.
How we help people?
In addition to direct aid, ASDEPCO helps displaced families rebuild. They assist IDPs who fled violence by providing shelter materials and vocational training. For families returning home, ASDEPCO facilitates safe resettlement and community rehabilitation. They are dedicated to restoring normalcy through rehabilitation projects across the North West region.
ASDEPCO’s humanitarian outreach is expansive, from major IDP concentrations to isolated villages. Their volunteer network allows them to rapidly deploy resources wherever assistance is required. ASDEPCO also forms partnerships with international NGOs to maximize their impact. But their mission remains grassroots, based on community trust and an intimate understanding of local needs.
Looking ahead, ASDEPCO aims to promote resilience and self-reliance for vulnerable groups. While continuing direct humanitarian aid, they plan to expand programs for sustainable livelihoods and long-term development. ASDEPCO believes strengthening communities is key to uplifting the North West region.
